Meet the minds behind the Land of Amun — creators, collaborators, and voices shaping the realm from vision to page and screen.

The Team

Now that the text of Book One is complete, I’m beginning to question whether my choice to write it in a language that is not my native tongue was a mistake — although that was precisely the vision we had as a team six months ago. The editors certainly faced challenges cleaning the Augean stables of my initial “English” draft, but every additional day invested in refinement undoubtedly benefitted the Land of Amun universe.

About Loa

Well, since the creator has written his biography, what's stopping me from doing the same? Moreover, I know everything both about myself and about him.

After all, I took up residence in his mind five years ago — to stay there for good. About the Author

Hello, I am Alex Mizgailo, the creator of the Land of Amun universe.

I was born in a godforsaken place at the end of March 1981. That night, the hospital had its own peculiar atmosphere, which led to a clerical curiosity — I was registered on the 30th, even though this day has not yet come. The reason? The new logbook was already on the table, and no one wanted to fetch the old one.

An astute reader might interpret this as a telling sign: I was born among the chronically lazy, and I wholeheartedly agree — to an extent you cannot imagine. Thus, I consider it one of my life’s greatest achievements that I didn’t follow this path myself. I’d like to take this opportunity to extend greetings to those who can’t and won’t sit still, ever. As they say, we be of one blood, ye and I!

The Role of Trance in Daily Life and Creative Work

Do you love trance as much as I do?

Odds are, that after reading this, you felt an urge of twirling your finger near the temple, which I completely approve, as a matter of fact. Healthy skepticism and critical thinking are some of my favorite qualities in people. However, the sheer fact that the world of Land of Amun was created in a state of trance by as many as half, speaks for itself. Both about the trance and the author, and specifically about the world itself. But first things first.
